How tiers are sized
DCS is RAM- and CPU-hungry. Tier sizing is driven by map memory footprint and concurrent player count:
Co-Op: small group, light terrains. Not enough headroom for the heaviest maps.
Value: medium group, all standard maps.
Squadron: required for Germany Cold War and other RAM-heavy terrains.
Wing: large public events, persistent campaigns, max population.
Each tier card lists slot count, RAM, and the included extras.
Auto-updates
Fox3 servers update automatically minutes after a new DCS release. You don’t need to schedule maintenance windows or kick anyone off the server, the worker handles it.
Missions, mods, logs & Tacview
We expose a cloud-drive folder per server during onboarding. Drop files there, the server picks them up. Same folder structure for:
Missions/, .miz files, picked up on next restart
Mods/, mod folders, validated at startup
Logs/, dcs.log live tail for debugging
Tacview/. ACMI replay files
Steam DCS support
Yes, the Steam version of DCS works the same as the standalone version. Both connect to Fox3-hosted servers without any extra configuration.

Cancellation
Cancel via your account page or a Discord support ticket. Partial-month refunds are not provided. A failed payment deactivates the server immediately and starts a 48-hour countdown to deletion, you can recover by paying within that window.
