The Fox3 family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Matt Wagner.
For so many of us in the DCS community, Matt was far more than a name in the credits. He was one of the familiar faces and voices behind a hobby that has brought thousands of pilots, aviation enthusiasts, veterans, and friends together over the years.
His passion for aviation and combat flight simulation was unmistakable. Through countless videos, updates, demonstrations, and conversations with the community, Matt helped make DCS what it is today. His knowledge, professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm had an enormous and positive impact on this community.
At Fox3, our entire business exists because there is a community of people who love DCS and aviation. Matt spent decades helping build and nurture that community, and we are grateful for everything he gave to it.
We will keep Matt, his wife Kumiko, his family, his friends, and everyone at Eagle Dynamics in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Matt will be greatly missed, but the impact he made will remain every time someone straps into a virtual cockpit, learns a new aircraft, joins a squadron, or discovers DCS for the first time.
