There is a moment every DCS World content creator runs into eventually. The channel is growing, the comments are good, people are asking where they can fly with you, and the answer is a server you are paying for out of pocket while you edit videos at one in the morning. Fox3 wants to change that answer.

The Fox3 Creator Sponsorship Program is now live at fox3servers.com/sponsorship. It is a straightforward trade. We put you on better hardware or on a free server, you get a branded coupon code for your audience, and your viewers get a real reason to fly with us. No ambiguity, no vague talk about exposure, and no contract full of surprises. The nice thing is it helps both of us and strengthens the DCS and IL-2 communities.

Here is exactly how it works.

Who Qualifies

There are two published numbers, and they are the same for everybody.

You need 3,000 or more subscribers on the channel you apply with, and that channel needs to be focused on combat flight simulation. DCS World and IL-2 Sturmovik are the core of what we serve, so that is the content we are looking for.

You also need recent videos over 1,000 views each. Not one viral upload from two years ago. We are looking at what your channel is doing right now, because a code only works if there are people around to use it.

Meeting both numbers does not automatically get you in. A human at Fox3 reads every application. We look at whether the content genuinely fits combat flight sim and whether a partnership makes sense for both sides. That step is deliberate. We would rather approve fewer creators and actually take care of them than hand out codes to anyone who clears a threshold.

What You Get

Every approved creator receives a branded coupon code to share with their audience. On top of that, there is hardware, and which offer applies depends on where you are starting from.

If you already host with Fox3, you move up one hardware tier for free. Your price does not change and neither does your billing date. Squadron Tier becomes Wing Tier. Wing Tier becomes Division Tier. Division Tier becomes Air Superiority Tier. That is more RAM, more cores, and a higher slot ceiling on the same invoice you are already paying. The shared host tiers, Co-Op and Value, are not part of this offer because a tier bump there does not mean the same thing.

If you have 10,000 or more subscribers, you can be eligible for a free server outright, capped at Wing Tier. Wing Tier is 40 slots, 16 gigabytes of RAM and four cores, and it normally runs $69.99 a month. This one stays discretionary rather than automatic, so we will talk it through with you rather than pretend a subscriber count tells the whole story.

Approved creators also get access to the Fox3 brand assets in the #fox3-branding channel on our Discord. Logos, stream overlays, and graphics, all ready to drop into your videos so your sponsor segment does not look like it was thrown together in a hurry.

What We Ask

This is the part most sponsorship programs leave deliberately fuzzy, so we wrote it down instead.

We track signups that come in on your code against three targets:

• 1 new customer per month

• 3 new customers in a rolling window of three months

• 12 new customers per year

A use means one new customer signs up for a Fox3 server with your code, counted once, at signup. Renewals do not add to the total. Clicks do not count. Neither do abandoned carts. Only a real person who becomes a real customer.

Two details are worth calling out because they exist to give you room to breathe. The windows run from your approval date rather than from calendar months, so a creator approved on the twentieth is not immediately behind. And a quiet month is forgiven as long as your three month window is still on pace. Everybody has a month where life gets in the way or the upload schedule slips.

If Things Do Not Work Out

The first time you miss, you get a warning email that spells out where the shortfall is. Your benefits keep running. Nothing is switched off.

The second miss ends the sponsorship. The coupon code stops working and any comped hardware winds down. If you were already a Fox3 customer before the sponsorship, you keep your original subscription exactly as it was. You do not lose your server because a promotion ended.

A person reviews these situations too, and a strike can be waived when the context warrants it. If your channel got demonetized, or you were deployed, or you had a genuinely rough quarter, tell us. We would rather hear from you than run a spreadsheet.

How to Apply

You will be asked for your Discord username so we can find you in the Fox3 Discord, your YouTube channel link, your current subscriber count, an email address for our answer, and your city and country. That last one is not idle curiosity. Your location tells us which hardware and which time zone will actually serve your community well.

There is also an optional field of up to 1,000 characters for anything else you want us to know. Use it. If you run a squadron, if you have a series planned, if there is context the raw numbers do not capture, that field is where it goes.

Review is done by a human and takes a few days. You get an answer by email either way.

Why We Built It This Way

Fox3 has sponsored creators for a while now. What we did not have was a front door. If you were not already in the Discord and did not already know somebody, there was no obvious way in. That is a bad way to run a program that is supposed to be about growing the community.

So the thresholds are published. The targets are published. The definition of a use is published, because a program that counts clicks instead of customers is a program that will eventually disappoint somebody. And the failure path is published, because you deserve to know what happens on a bad month before you sign up rather than after.
