Fox3 sponsors the people making DCS World and IL-2 Sturmovik content. If your channel brings pilots into the hobby, we will put hardware behind it: a free tier upgrade on the server you already run with us, or in some cases a free server, plus a discount code your viewers can actually use.
It is a real partnership with real numbers attached, and every one of those numbers is on this page. Nothing is buried.
Two numbers get you looked at, and a person decides from there.
A YouTube channel with at least 3,000 subscribers, built around DCS World, IL-2 Sturmovik, or combat flight sim generally.
Your most recent uploads should be clearing 1,000 views each. We look at what you are publishing now, not the one video that went big in 2022.
A person at Fox3 opens your channel and looks at it. The two numbers are the floor we start from, not a formula, so clearing both is not an automatic yes. We also look at whether the content is really combat flight sim and whether a Fox3 server is useful to it.
There is no automated check anywhere in this process. An admin verifies your subscriber count and recent view counts by hand before approving anything, so expect a few days rather than a few minutes, and expect a human answer either way.
Approved creators receive one of the following, plus a coupon code for their audience.
One hardware tier up, free
If you are hosting with us at Squadron Tier or higher, we move your server up one tier and comp the difference. More RAM, more player slots, same server, same setup.
Your billing does not change at all. Same subscription, same price, same renewal date. You are not upgrading and you are not being charged a prorated anything. We simply give you the better hardware.
How the bump lands
Air Superiority is the top of the ladder, so if you are already there we will work out something else that makes sense for you. Co-Op and Value are shared-host tiers, they sit below the eligibility bar, and they are not eligible for the bump. The comp rides on your paid subscription, so if that subscription ends there is nothing left for us to comp.
You may be offered a free server
At 10,000 subscribers and up we can sponsor a creator with a server outright. No purchase, no subscription, nothing to cancel later. You do not need to be an existing Fox3 customer.
Two things to be clear about. This one is discretionary: passing 10,000 subscribers does not entitle you to a free server, it makes you eligible to be offered one. And it is capped at Wing Tier. We are not handing out Division or Air Superiority hardware, so please do not arrive expecting it.
Which creators get this comes down to fit: what you cover, who watches, and whether a Fox3 server is genuinely useful to the content you make.
Both paths include a coupon code. We issue a discount code in your name for your audience to use at checkout. Put it in your descriptions, your pinned comment, your overlays, wherever it works for you. That code is also how we measure the partnership, which is the next section.

Read this part twice
A “use” means one new customer signs up for a Fox3 server with your code. It is counted once per customer, at signup.
It is not counted per month, not per renewal, and not per payment. A viewer who signs up with your code and then stays a Fox3 subscriber for two years counts as one use, not twenty-four. If ten of your viewers sign up, that is ten uses, no matter how long any of them stay.
So when you read “12 per year” below, read it as 12 net-new paying customers in a year. That is the actual bar. We would rather you decide against applying now than find this out in month nine.

All three numbers are counted the same way: one new customer signing up with your code, counted once, on the day they sign up.
The monthly number is a pace, not a tripwire. If a month comes up empty but your three-month total is still on track, nothing happens. Uploads slip, algorithms wobble, life happens.
Worked example
Month 1: 3 new customers sign up with your code. Month 2: 0. Month 3: 0.
You are fine. The three-month target was 3 and you delivered 3, so those three signups cover the whole period. No warning, no strike. Then month 4 starts a new period and the pace picks up again from there.
We will not pretend this part does not exist, so here it is plainly:
If a sponsorship ends and you are an existing customer, you keep your server and your original subscription exactly as it was. You lose the free upgrade, not your service. And if something real is going on in your life, talk to us before the period closes rather than after. A person reviews every miss and we do waive strikes by hand when the situation warrants it.
Sponsored creators get the Fox3 kit: logos, lower thirds, stream overlays, end-card graphics and the correct colours, all in the #fox3-branding channel of the Fox3 Discord.
