Two missions a month, built to your brief by the Fox3 Mission Curator team, tested on a Fox3 server, and delivered into your server's Missions folder.
What the fee covers
- $14.99 a month per server, any DCS tier. Buy it from the product page; you name the server at checkout and it must be on your Fox3 account.
- Two briefs per calendar month. The counter resets on the 1st (UTC). Unused briefs do not roll over.
- Build, QA test, delivery, and a Discord ticket per brief for tweaks. Re-dos within reason are part of the same brief.
Filing a brief
- Go to My Account → Custom Missions. You will see each server that has the service and how many briefs are left this month.
- Click File a brief. Pick the map, era, scenario type, player slots, mission length, difficulty, time of day and weather.
- Write the objective: who you are, what the target is, what is defending it, and how the mission should end. Add notes for carrier ops, specific airframes, radio or SRS setup, scripts you run, or things you do not want.
- Tick the library box if you are happy for the mission to join the public Mission Library 30 days after delivery. Leave it unticked to keep it to your squadron.
What makes a brief build well
- One clear objective beats five vague ones. “Strike the SAM site at Al Dhafra under a 15-minute window, then egress feet wet” is a mission; “some strike stuff” is a coin flip.
- Say how many people really show up. 16 slots for a 6-person squadron just spawns empty jets; we size AI opposition to the slot count.
- Difficulty is about the threat, not your skill: easy is a training range with light AAA, brutal is layered SAMs with a CAP that comes looking for you.
- Time of day and weather change everything for CAS and helicopter work. If night or IMC matters to you, say so.
- Tell us your RAM tier if you want a very dense mission; we test against it and will trim rather than ship something that stalls your server.
What happens after you file
A ticket opens in the Fox3 Discord with your brief, so you can add detail or answer questions. The status on your account page moves through Received → Building → Testing → Delivered. Briefs are built in the order they arrive, usually within a few days.
Delivery
The finished mission is copied to your server as Fox3 Custom - <mission name>.miz in the Missions folder, and you get an email. Your mission list and running mission are not touched; load it from your server portal when you are ready. If the automatic copy cannot reach your server, we place it by hand and tell you.
Cancelling
Cancel from My Account any time. Briefs already filed are still built and delivered; anything not yet filed when the subscription ends is not.
