AEROSIMICS ATC adds voice-driven AI air traffic control and air battle management to your DCS server, powered by Aerosimics A.R.E.S. We install it, configure it and keep it running on your dedicated server. Here is how it works from purchase to first transmission.
Add AEROSIMICS ATC when you buy a dedicated server, or add it to a server you already have from the DCS servers page. For an existing server, sign in first, use the same email as your Fox3 account, and enter your server number (for example A2-151). It must be a server on your account.
ATCServer_<GUID>.txt file you are given to that ticket. We activate it on your server within 24 hours of receiving the file and confirm in the ticket. Each pilot uses the free ARES pilot client from Aerosimics and connects to your server on port 60000. The connection details are in your activation ticket.
We recommend at least 20 GB of RAM on your server (add +4 GB to a 16 GB server). AEROSIMICS ATC also runs on smaller servers, but large maps such as Syria may need the extra memory. An airspace built for your mission with the free Aerosimics Airspace Designer also keeps memory use down. You can add RAM at any time, see Server upgrades & mods.
Cancel it from your account like any other add-on. AEROSIMICS ATC is removed from your server about an hour after the cancellation, so a quick change of mind does not cost you a reinstall. Your Aerosimics licence is yours and is not affected.
If AEROSIMICS ATC stops responding on your server, open a ticket in the Fox3 support channel with your server number. Questions about A.R.E.S. features, the pilot client or licence purchases belong with Aerosimics.
